Starbucks has recently been using a new brown logo. This is actually the old logo. This has been reintroduced as part of their Back to Basics’ campaign. It coincided with the release of the ‘Pike Place Blend’ which was named after the original Starbucks store in Seattle. The original twin-tailed siren or mermaid is slightly more exposed than in the classic green logo. (more…)
Gayego was listed with 10 to 1 Preakness odds heading into Saturday’s race but all that could change now that his nearest competitor, Behindthebar, has been removed from the race.
Behindthebar was listed with the next shortest odds after heavily favored Big Brown. He was taken out of the race due to a bruise in his left front foot, trainer Todd Pletcher said. (more…)
Previously on CSI, Warrick (Gary Dourdan) proved himself to be a loose cannon, conducting his own police investigation.
Tonight’s CSI begins at a funeral. Pallbearers carrying a coffin lead a procession of largely black mourners, accompanied by a gospel choir. In mid-procession, the bottom of the casket falls out and two bodies tumble out, a white corpse and black corpse. The CSI team arrives shortly thereafter and find out that there was a secret compartment in the casket. Nobody can identify the white corpse, as yet, or who hid him in the casket. (more…)
